Glendale
#1
Went to Glendale today and thought I'd hit it early before the skiers and jet skis got on the water. That lasted about an hour before the first ones got on and that was at 730. Water was as murkey as I have ever seen it and as high as Ive ever seen it this time of year. One crappie, one bass and one small trout and that was it. could see fish all over on the finder and water was 72-73 but couldnt buy a bite. Left at 1:00 as the lake was all but full of skiers, etc. Counted 12 ski boats on water when I left, one had 11 people in it.

I think all the ski boats have the lake so messed up that the fishing is going to take some time to settle back down before its descent again. Good luck to ya all.

I used to love to fish that place from a float tube when I was a kid (15years ago!) we used to hammer 16 to 18 inch bass all the time. It's too bad the skiers had to take over as I have not fished it other than ice fishing for about 10 years now. Guess we will have to wait until fall to enjoy it again!!

I went to Oneida the same day. Hordes and hordes of people there too. I've never seen so many ski boats on that lake before, and the picnic tables were all full at the dam launch, almost every turnoff on the river was packed with cars too. Mostly from Utah even. After my experience up there that day, I can see why you guys don't like Utahns very much. There was a lot of moronic behavior going on up there. Blah.
