These are from a buddy of mine that lives in Ak. He sent them to tease me. His parents weren't married at his conception. I say we all go up and invade his house next year. He owes me, I packed out many of his deformed, loser Elk in the past. Thought you might like these. Don't be scared of the titles, they are fish....I promise.

James,
It's summer, why would I fish? I've been killing them on pocket lint and the fur my dogs shed. Hopefully the house is done and came out well. I did my one Gorge trip and it didn't work out so well. Might try it again this week. I stopped by today and the kids tell me you are having a BIG ice fishing sale 11 Oct. Why wasn't I informed? My feelings are hurt. I'm over it now. I saw the new rods, I'll be in to pick up a 1/2 dozen or so. They're not the red Master ones I like but they're close. Nice and flimsy, just the way I like em. You'll see me more often once the middle of November gets here. Maybe this year we'll get some decent ice early. The new girl you have working for you tells me it's going to be a good ice year. I sure hope she's right.

LEAD AND MEAT . HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YA, LEAD AND MEAT. You can't catch big fish on dryer lint and parakete feathers.
house is nice and comfortable, still doing a little work on it.
I hire some ugly girls don't I?
I did not know what day they were going to have the sale,I told them to get it going, they are supposed to get some authors in to sign books and some fishing pros and reps,my once a year big deal.
sorry I missed you, I have been spending more time at the store lately.

Of course I was kidding about the corner of the laundry room fuzz fishing. I fished Birch Creek until it got skunky, went out once on Willard, couple of times to Pineview, once to Bear Lake and Starvation, and the Gorge twice. Mostly I just went into hibernation and slept with my auger. I love that auger. See you soon.

I'll need bigger tackle and a couple of strong dudes to help reel it in. My 80# rigs wouldn't even budge that big fellow. The biggest one I've ever caught was 180#s and that was all I wanted. My arms hurt so bad I couldn't even lift a refreshing beverage when I was done.
