Anyone out there ever fished the Estes Park area in Colorado? Going on a road trip and I would like to hook into some out of state fishies!

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, I went on a raod trip earlier this summer and tried to get info from the Colorado BFT board but no one was home....

Not to sure where where Ester Park is but down north of duango around creede is awesome country. Fished the Head waters of the Rio Grande a few years back and my brother-in-law and I caught a few rainbows about 25". Another hot spot is little sqaw creek. Its back behind a resort so getting to its tough. For all I know the fires a few years ago got alot of that area. But it would be worth your while to check into that area, got the San Juan to the south and the Rio Grande to the north. Good Fishing, Matt

just got back from there one eyed jack. in case you didnt see my post on my trip over labor day. i fished all over out in tha area for quite a few years now. pm me ill give you some help.
