Headed out to Newton with lavaman this morning. Beautiful morning and almost glass-like conditions. I wont post too much -today I am gonna leave that to lavaman, since it was apparently his big day. I had a lot of fun fishing with him. I landed a couple of small bass, and he did too, along with some smaller perch. I missed a couple of muskie. But the day belonged to lava. He landed 3 muskie and missed a couple more. I am sure he will post with pics later tonight.

Wow, that is a perty picture, but holy cow! That water looks like it is almost back down to where it was last fall! If that pic was taken where I think it was, that puts the shore about 15 ft farther out than where I last saw. Nice job on the fish too. Sounds like a fun morning. I might have to venture out there on Monday and see what I can hook.

Glaaaasssyyyy. Nice. So how low is the launch area now?
And hell boyz - where's my invite! I had a major tossup between getting off and out, or staying and doing chores and brunch.
Brunch won! Fresh bisquits and gravy with sausage, bacon, eggs (my boy fluffs a good scramble).
I know you weren't eatin those musky, so THERE! drool time!
PS: well done - good gettin the boy on some fish. He wouldn't have done it so well w/o you.
So where's the perch?! You runnin' on the 'lectric?
