Sooo glad it is starting to get cooler

This summer heat has put a damper on my bassin....I am recently back into them and as it gets cooler, I imagine it will only get better...any thoughts? is it just me or did the heat shut UL down?

for me the fall bass bite is epic, the cooler temps sets the bass on a fall feed bag and they go crazy! I catch my biggest fish now til end of nov!

this was my first summer bass fishin and I got the bug bad!!! are pitchin jigs in the shallows still effective for falll fishin or are cranks and things like that better? nothin like some bass play! ha!

me too...I never caught a bass until May of this year, now I think I have caught more LM bass than any other species (except white bass)...I use every technique in the book if I have to...simply put I throw the tackle box at em....when I find what works I stay to it until it don't

yeah I prob caught over 100 bass this summer, not a ton for experienced guys but considering I use to only fish maybe 3 times during the summer basically to kill time before hunting season. biggest bass for me this summer went 5.5 pounds. my buddy hooked into a nice 6 plus pounder. I have prob bought 500 bucks in bass gear. I do want to make it out a couple more times to try the fall bite but its tough with hunting season. last thing I needed was another expensive hobby [:p]

the bass bug cost me golf and bow hunting...I seriously got rid of all that so my wife would let me take it up...and don't kid yourself it is just as expensive...I am north of 500 in bass gear this year..

as a new found bass chaser, you will soon regret the words cool weather. As this means one thing, and one thing only, Winter. This leads to the worst time of the year on spending $ on greenfish and brownfish alike. lol This is when they, the sport stores, own us. you will find yourself thinking oh yea I need one of those and one of those. After a few years you will not only be a bass fisherman you will also be a lure collector. Trust me you will hear the words" Why the heck do you need another bag of those". Then you will find yourself saying Winter Sucks, I cannot wait for spring.[:/]
