I took my wife and daughter to Scofield Sunday 9/21 and had a fun day with beautiful weather and plenty of fat rainbows. Everybody on the lake was catching fish, both trolling with flatfish etc. and bait fishing with power bait etc. We caught most of ours on a nightcrawler and marshmallow. The lake is only 15 feet deep in the middle, and very green with algae. The algae was no problem at all for us, but could be a problem fishing from shore. But I now have green line. I went up there mostly to try out my "new" old boat, and it ran great so I'm excited to take it out a bunch more. Launching is no problem at the State Park ramp near the dam.
