Lake Mead (Echo Bay area) 11-11-11
#1
Not a bad day out on the water at all. Overcast and calm. Hardly any wind at all at the Echo Bay end of the lake and more or less no one else up there fishing at all. Bass have certainly moved out deeper. I am a die hard crank bait fisherman so had to move on to the deep diving jerk baits and deep diving cranks. Caught maybe 15 or so (not counting a bunch of way baby bass we got into several times) Most of them were in the 2-3 pound range. A good mix of SMB and LMB. A few Stripers got in the way so they had to be caught too [Wink] Madi caught one striper that was worthy of taking a picture of!

Awesome job!!!! Haven't seen a striper that size out of mead for awhile... I'm heading out right now and bringing the big lures in hopes of hookin something decent like that...[fishon]

that end of the lake is putting out some really quality sized smallmouth's. i also love seeing almost every striper pic shows there is plenty of shad in the lake to get them growing good again
