[cool]welcome aboard Lloyd!!! lake mead's government wash is a good spot to start at like 4pound said, don't bother with Lorenzi park as they are not stocking it ATM, they plan on draining it, but if you do go there your only choice would be carp, tiny green sunfish, or maybe a holdover catfish from summer. sunset park near Henderson is usually a good bet for bass, trout, & catfish but they are remodeling the park so fishing space is very limited, floyd lamb state park is a good bet but it cost 6 dollars to get in, but there are multiple ponds to fish from and they have good bass, trout, carp, bluegill, and catfishing. undertow and 4poundonly fish the floyd lamb ponds pretty regularly. good luck!! check out our forum there is tons of info and techniques on fishing in southern Nevada. see you on the water!![fishon]

Hi Lloyd, Your in luck. This is a great place to look for fishing spots. We have a ton of different anglers here with new reports of random cool spots all the time. There are so many places within a few hours of here to fish, that you could be busy for years trying to hit them all. Just pick a species and use the search tool. [fishin]

![]() ![]() You talk about "stickies", what are they and where "at the top" are they found? Anyone ever been to Searles reservoir; is Bowman Res open or closed; did they drain and refresh Pahranaghat? [signature]

Last time I was at Pahranagat, it was a few feet below max pool. Lots of tiny bullhead in there. Decent bluegill population too. Never tried for bass there.
The stickies are the posts at the top of the post list with light bulbs next to the topic. [signature]
