Fajardo Fishing report first week 2012
#1
Happy New Year to all of you.

The fishing has been strange, Mahis in almost dry land (40ft) to huge tunas blind strikes ( no birds and green water) and plenty of wahoos. The billfish action has not been that hot at least in the days before the moon and Sails were caugth at 20 miles out that is unusual for them. Nice wahoo action around structures north of Culebra island. The seas are good for fishing with long period swells and light winds. The High light of the week was a 60#+ yellowfin fought stand up on 20 test spinning rod combo. The client saw her close but pull the hook after a hour fight.

tight lines
