Hey There!

Hi folks, My name on here is going to be Stircrazy because that's what me and the wife are right now - stir crazy.

Maybe I ought to explain. You see, I broke my foot about a week and a half ago, and being I'm a year-round angler, and the weather's been more or less agreeable since I did it, I'm going nuts being stuck on my butt in the living room watching the fishing shows instead of being out fishing.

Consequently my wife would be pulling my hair out if I had any.

We have several cats who are often more excited about my catch than I am, and always want to help me clean the fish... At least that's what they tell me.

I suppose a little background is in order in this post too.

I got into fishing at such a young age that I had to be told about how it came about later on. Allegedly, I saw a cousin fishing in the pond behind our house and wanted to try it. So, my dad got me an eight foot cane pole and I commenced to catching all the stuff you're not supposed to be able to catch in all the ways you're not supposed to be able to catch it. For example, spawning large and smallmouth bass. All this when I could just barely walk and run - two years old.

I know that sounds incredible, but it's true. That also means I've been doing it about thirty years now. Though, to be honest, I only just recently started expanding my horizons and trying and learning new tricks.

I'm eagerly looking forward to learning new stuff and even more so I can't wait to try them out.

P.S. My wife says the red and white smilies look like a pokemon - Voltorb... You have my apologies.

Hello Stircrazy. Sorry to hear about the foot. BFT is a great place to scratch the itch when you aren't able to get out and actually fish. Thanks for joining and welcome aboard.
