Well sunday i got a call from my budy and he was wantin to know if i could go fishing Monday. And i could. So we went down there. Put in at about 7 AM. We fished till about 4 PM. The water was around 50 degrees all morning and evening. We started on a shallow point *20 foot* throwing 15 foot cranks. We didnt have any luck so we went to another point where the water goes from 35-40 foot on one side and up to about 20 then dropped off to 50 FOW on the back side of it. There we used jigs, and C-Rigs and Shakeys and was able to boat 3. Then we moved when they stopped hittin there. So we went to some more points where the water was 48 and 33 foot deep and fished. No luck. By this time its 1 oclock so we moved to 3 more with no luck. had a few bumps from little "minner sized" spots so we thought we would go down lake and try another spot. It was a little cove where on the banks the water was 20-25 foot deep and in the middle was mainly 40-58 foot deep. We went down the middle and didnt have any luck. So we turned around and went back down the other side. Then we was able to put 4 in the boat in about an hour. Then i looked at my phone and saw it was about 3:30 so we decided to try another point. we went there and the wind got up so we thought about moving. Besides they was lowering the water. within around 2 and a half hour the water dropped about 3-4 foot. So then the fish suspended in about 35 FOW when we was fishing 50. But as i said we moved to the first point we was at and the wind calmed down for a few then i hooked another one and boated it. Then got on some fish but they was suspended and we wasnt able to boat any. I thought i would throw the crank bait again so i casted 3 times and had one hit hard. i went to set the hook and the rod just about came out of my hand so then i got a good grip on it and kept on realing and it had got off. we casted there for about 30 minutes and the wind got back up really really bad so we headed back to the dock. we loaded up and headed back. We lost 2 Shakey heads and a C-Rig. None of mine was lost. All the fish but one was under 15 inch. The other would of went about 16 and a half. Didnt keep any or take any pics or really messure the fish. All and all we had a good day yesterday on the water. emoAngel emoAngler
