Was their last weekend ice was 12" took the wife and son wife schooled me again. we caught perch,bows, browns, and splake in 30' of water west of boat ramp

[cool] We killed them Perch last weekend, also some nice Rainbows.

Nice! I have only caught perch like that one time down there where did you fish shoot me a pm?

It's no secret, we caught them under the Ice.....with a fishing pole.... on a hook. LOL. [laugh]

We fished the North end
used a live mealie bug on a small jig hook. (white head worked best but pink and yellow also worked) Also used perch meat (small chunck)
caught some 2 at a time.
15' water.
right on the bottom. (even touch the bottom hook on the bottom when jigging.)
If you set in 1 hole for more than a couple min. without a bite move.
Some holes are better than others.
