desided to hit the berry today im meeting somefolks at the marina for a few hours of fishing and to demo some of our ice poles

Ditto to the above question, I am heading up tomorow as well. Any info on ice/slush/road conditions would be great. Oh yea, any fishing reports would be great also![]

most the good areas around strawberry were crowded
the ice was 15 inches with about 6 inches of snow on top but cold enough to make it more crusty so you were able to walk on it easy

as for the fishing it was good the bite was slow but when they did bite they seemed to stay on most took it and ran

i love those self hooking fishing

on another topic the home made jiggers work awesome
good luck tomorrow i think i will go up mid week less crowds,snowmobles and wheelers when they couldnot catch fish the lake became a large play ground
