Last Ice Report from south east mi
#1
the season has really been lousy, we have had about 5 days of winter all season.

aside from a few dangerous patches of ice in south east mi there has been no real season this year...

I sat on a floating patch on Pontiac lake yesterday, but the 40 degree temps and last nights rains has put a watery barricade twenst me and my hole.

my report is 5 gills and one 14 inch crappie..

being that this is the middle of feb and temps in the 40's for the next 7 days, I think even our dangerous patches will out of the question, maybe I will start thinking about long eared fuzzy tailed land fishies for the rest of the season..

I will pray for more ice, but it looks like the season is done for south east michigan.
