My partner and I decided to stay close because I cant stand the cold weather and at least that way I'm not completely froze from running down the river,we did make a small run and pulled in on some bait being chased around in a small cut and jerked out the rigs, we had a limit pretty quick so now we can relax and really bare down on them. The problem with that was they got that same feeling and were gone as soon as we had our 3 in the well. We fished drops, flats, and ledges most of the day and culled one at about 9:30 and the bite shut down completely for us, nothing else the rest of the day. We threw everything we had at them but no takers so the a rig was the lure that worked for us today and the only lure that I saw flying off of everybody else's rods. Water temps were 50 to 53 . All in all a pretty nice day for middle of winter fishing. emoGeezer
