Has anybody tried these finders by chance. or about any of the side scans that are out there?
Have a deal lined up on one but thought that I would get some feed back before taking the plunge.

They are great for portable cinders. I use one on my canoe. A good price is icing on the cake.

I have one and it is light weight and works beautifully. I use it exclusively on my pontoon boat.

I got the Fishing Buddy 120 works great I use it on my float tube and its great ice fishing

Use the color model on my pontoon. I like it for the to find the depth not sure I trust the "fish finding" ability in shallow water. A good portable unit but be prepared to run through a lot of batteries.

I have one I have used mine for ice fishing only . They work great for what they are . I plain on putting it to work on the boat this year. for what they cost you cant go wrong.
