#1
Has anybody fished the South Fork of the Snake river? If so what flys/lures are working? I am floating it tomorrow. Thanks!

Water temp should be coming up. Make sure to have a good supply of pmds, pink cahills, bead head prince and pheasant tails, normal elk hair caddis, and some big stonefly nymphs the fish should start keying in on those.

I aint much for fly fishing but since you asked for lures too... We've been catching them on mostly metal this year, silver and gold blue foxes and panther martins similarly colored have been working great for us! I use big #9 and #15 in PMs and I cant remember the numbers but the bigger BFs. Usually I'm hammering them on the 7 and 9 CD Rapalas this time of year, but I've been catching more on the metal this year. Fish them slow, especially if it turns off cold tomorrow, just enough to turn the blade. Vvveeerrryyy ssslllooowww. [Wink]
