Lowell 6/13
#1
Had some time today and were able to make a mid day run to Lowell. Got on the water by about 10:30. We fished around the upper dam while waiting on a friend to get there. Never got a bite. The wind was blowing at about 15 mph.

Upon arrival to our destination, the wind subsided a little. Just a few cast's into it, my mom hooked a nice one. Didn't take the time to weigh it, but it was 19 inches long. Just a little while later we landed a short fish. After another hour without a bite, we decided to try the other side of the lake.

The wind picked back up by then, and we were hanging about 20 yards off the weed line. My buddy landed a 13 inch fish on a crank bait, and that was it. It was slow, but fun for a mid-day trip.
