portneuf conditions
#1
From the old steel bridge up the water level is good running pretty high. The waterclarity is good. From aprox 2 miles befor upper access to aprox 4 miles up stream from croney access on toponce there is an over abundance of mossy weeds some spits covers the entire river for a hundred or so yards. Very hard to access and wade.. From aprox 2 miles down stream of upper access to old steel bridge is mostley moss free. Lots of silt build up in some places.. Lower access is fishing great if you want 6" planter trout.. From steel bridge to crane creek access is low real low some spots are literally only 12" accross.. And ankle deep. Fishing is slow. From steel bridge down.. Water clarity is good. From crane creek access down I have no idea what it looks like.. This is for any one interested.. The fishing is slow..

Thanks. I won't have a chance to get out today, but nice to know some of the conditions. It helps to make a decision when I do get some time. I appreciate you taking the time to post it.
