emoAngler ...Spent 3 days at Pickwick State Park with Jr. Bass group prefishing & fishing the tournament on Saturday. Thursday I had 3 teenager dudes on boat prefishing, emoBang , yep u would think HEADACHE. All went well, 4 of us all fishing outta my tub, no real problems and everyone actuallycaught Bass and not each other. emoUp A lot of fun & emoPoke towards each other, we fished Thurs. Friday , there was only 1with me , Matt, from Murfreesboro, Tn. He fished a lot of bluffs & shallow areas catching decent keepers. Saturday tournament day, I drew out Caden Watson from Cleveland & Teddy Frederick from Brownsville, Tn., each from a different age group.

The day starte out on humps, slower than previous, Caden hooks up, it a emoDoh 12lb drum. Cast back to same area, whamo emoFish hits hard, Jerry, get the net, it a biggun, crankin it toward boat, it jumps, big SM, 1 more jump bout 10ft from boat, emoHoppingmad , yep it pulls the hook. I would estimate it to have been close to 6lbr.

They keep washing lures, move to Teddy's spot & Caden gets his 1st keeper, not much later, Teddy has a keeper, both LM. As we fish around looking for more keepers, only slicks were to be found. 1 exception emoScratch , long, lean, & mean,,,,,COPPERHEAD, snagged by Caden with fluke & hook. emoBadLanguage now who removes the hook?????, yep it were me & my knife about 3ft above hook. That was 1 mean & upset critter, did get picture before line cut.

Weighin, there was a few who O'ed, big fish was 8.45lb, big stringer was 15+lb, everyone recieved placques, ones who caught got placques & gift certificates, winning anglers got rod & reel plus above awards... Was a great trip, glad to be able to assist the JR. Bass Teams, I have a lot of laughs & entertainment plus I learn quite a lot as most of them know every angle there is to the sport as they really study it...

A few pics to follow
