Deadman Hole new boat ramp placed

Work is coming along well on the Extreme Makeover of the Deadman Hole RAP in Section 18 on The Upper Salmon River. Our Deadman Hole Reporter filed three photos this afternoon. This is a great new boat ramp in a key fishing spot on the river. VERY welcome addition!

Was just up there yesterday, and I'd concur. Don't know how long it's been in the works, but does seem to be forming up into a nice campground area. Might apply a bit more pressure to a tight spot, but sure are some deep holes.
Saw a drift boat pass by, and a fly-flinger had a nice roll, but no take. We had more suckers than Salmon at our bidding. Short stop on the way home. Maybe next year - a longer linger! |
