<br /> After not fishing for a month and a half we decided to get out this morning for a few hours and chase some cats. The first hour was crazy slow with only a couple of fish. The 2nd hour was not much better, only 6-7 more but got one at 11 lbs. The last time we fished this area we boated 40. A lot can change in 6 weeks. <br /> Left that area and went downtown. Boated 10 more cats in the last hour. Should have went down there earlier. Eric got his new PB with a nice 11 lber so he was pumped. We will get him on a 20&#43; before the year is out. <br /> Very nice day on the water, even with the wind. For our 3 hours we boated 17 blues, 2 channels, 2 rock bass and a small largemouth. Much slower than what we had been doing but since I had not been on the water in 6 weeks not bad. Water temp was mid 80&#39;s which surprised me as I was expecting 90 or more. All fish came on drop shot Gulp as usual in 5-25 feet.
