Can anyone give me a water report on Mantua. Last time I was there (three weeks ago) and for most of the summer the water has been murky with the alge bloom.
I am hoping with the colder temps fall conditions are starting and some Bass can be caught!

I'll be driving past. And if I can get the kids on board, we'll at least swing through for a scouting.
I've never seen Mantua drawn down. Curious to know if that's happened - how is the launch - wonder what that does for all the abundant weeds. . .
I'll letcha know what we find, hopefully someone chimes in earlier (pee soup). I've enjoyed some fall trips there, and been thinking to try again. We'll see.

the bloom is out of hand. if the wind is blowing it off the top you may have three to four inch vis. If it is calm 0 vis. fishing is tough.

I stopped by there briefly this past Saturday. I didn't move around at all, just went to the NW corner. The water was still somewhat murky, and like CS, I thought of pea green soup. I did cast a fly rod a few times, but no takers. So I decided I better get on home.
