Hit currant creek yesterday. Waters low so you have to get past the moss around shore but the tigers must know winters coming because they appear to be hungry.
At one point i caught a 5 inch chub which met its end on the shoreline rocks with much velocity. Threw it and its ruptured guts into the lake and while it was floating i watched one of the biggest fish ive seen grab it and pull it down like a bug.
Mostly 14- 16 inch beautifully colored tigers and one chub and a 13" rainbow came to shore and some of the best peaceful solitary scenery one can find.
I left my phone in the truck so no pics, father in law got some but he doesnt know how to email them. Too old i guess haha.
Great great day. Weather couldnt have been better.
