salmon fishing in california

I saw on the news yesterday that there is some salmon fishing to be done in the river of california.. "cant remember the name of the river off hand"

these are wild salmon, yep, not planted. It is a restoration program that they have implimented on the river... I love it when I see people deciding that the natural way of doing things is not only the right way to do it, but the best way.

Salmon in California... you must be kidding. Its very tasty. i think would be in less amount there.

nope, not kidding,
one of the rivers that salmon used to breed in became unsutible due to industry and a hydro dam.

Thanks for the kudo's, I may have to wait for ice to get out. gas prices a bit much for me to drive across state to target salmon. For now I will have to do with canned salmon patties.

I did stop at the store the other day to look at salmon flanks, man oh man, they wanted $50.oo a side... [pirate]
