I have said it all year and it held true today too, we have been very lucky this year. After bringing in only two yesterday on the Nick, James messed us up in two ways for today. One was he teaches Sunday school and he played hookie. That in itself we all did but he had to feel guilty about it and talk about how the Lord was taking that out on us by our lack of fish. emoBang Then yesterday, he had to say, "Ya know, I sure am glad tomorrow we will be on the Chick, it can't get any worse." emoDoh YES IT DID!!!! We only managed one little bass in the boat all day. It was a suicide bass that busted some minnows twice by us, I pitched a spook over by it and it hit it twice the first cast, one time the second cast and finally once the third cast for the hook up and in the boat. emoRedface Three casts, four hits and finally I hooked him. He was set on being caught. I did not think much about the little guy at all and even once thought about pitching him since we knew we did not have a chance with only two fish the first day and that little guy today. I was sure glad I didn't, I never realized he was the biggest spot of the tournament until they called our name to come up and get our check. emoParty Here we were thinking we would go home empty handed and the little guy won us $85.00 bucks. Got back our entry and a couple bucks on gas. That was just dumb luck and it sure beat nothing. emoThumbsup

Today we threw the whole tackle box at them and James hooked up four times on what looked like keeper bass only to watch them get off. emoRolleyes I only hooked the little guy on a spook and it took me four times to hook him. I for one am very glad this weekend is over and I sure hope it is better by the CBA classic. emoToast Jmax
