DHaun, Indian Pass, FL, Bull Reds, 10-22-2012

I was able to take Friday off work and do some fishing this weekend. I was happy to learn that the Fall run of Bull Reds appears to have begun. I am finding a few slot reds on the oyster bars which are excellent blackened on the grill and then target the big line-peeling bruisers off the beach when the tide is optimal. They are fun to catch but I fear may have permanently damaged the drag on one of my striper reels. I hear things may get better in November so I hope to try again around Thanksgiving when I have some time off work! <br /><br />A few pics below. Brian Bowen of Oyster Radio also caught one off the same beach recently in the last pic...which is how I learned they were already in from the Gulf. Water temp was 72.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
