Strawberry 11-20-12

Had a great day on the Berry today. Between 3 of us we boated 54 and should have had another 20 if we could have hooked them. Most were in the slot but we did manage a few that were out of it including this brute that was pushing 6 lbs. We landed a few very nice rainbows including a couple that were 3.5 to 4 lbs.

All but about 6 were on white tube jigs tipped with chub meet. The 6 others were on either a Lucky Craft minnow or a castmaster.

The weather was gorgeous and the fishing was hot.

That was a beautiful fish, I am having strawberry withdrawls, havent been up thier once this year, maybe just maybe the ice will hold off just a little bit longer!

looks like the algae is still alive and well! Did you spend most of your time over in Renegade / the Meadows?
