Im going to scheels today after the Bears win.
I have three more reels to fill. I plan to go with 4, 6, and 8 LB line for the jacker.
Just wondering what you all think is the best ice line.
I hope we get ice this year - does Mantua have any yet?

Da-Bears...old Illinois Bear Fan here...okay to your queston...we use Berkley FireLine Fused Micro Ice Crystal...found it to be great for the hard deck...but again that is just one opinion...I'm sure others will provide their favorite hard deck line. Here's a link to ponder.

No ice on Mantua yet. I see some around the edges in the morning but burns off later in the day. Need some heavy cold to tighten up the surface. Water temp at Hyrum was still 45 degrees so it will be a while yet. Later J
