MarineMax announced the appointment of Chuck Cashman and Brett McGill as executive officers to the company's board of directors.
Cashman has served as vice president of East operations since May. He joined MarineMax in 1992 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including sales consultant, sales manager, general manager, district manager and regional president. Prior to joining MarineMax, Cashman was involved in commercial and residential construction management.
McGill has served as vice president of West operations since May. He served as one of the company's regional presidents from March 2006 until May 2012, as vice president of information technology, service and parts from October 2004 to March 2006 and as director of information services from March 1998 to October 2004. McGill began his professional career at Integrated Dealer Systems, a software development firm, and joined MarineMax in 1996. He is the son of company president and CEO William H. McGill Jr.
"We take great pride in the depth and quality of our management team," William McGill said in a statement. "With today's announcement we recognize two longtime team members who continue to lead our efforts of effectively driving sales and operating performance nationwide. Both Chuck and Brett have contributed to our ongoing efforts of streamlining our operations without sacrificing any customer services, further positioning the company to gain market share and create additional value in the coming years."
