Middle Provo 12/4/12
#1
Not a bad way to spend my day off today and probably my last day out before the baby comes... After a couple slow days on the lower weeb i decided to go back to my beloved provo river. Noticed nothing was really hatching but few were rising so i thought i"ll throw a para adams and see what i can get. After not picking up anything for about an hour or switched it up and starting throwing wets. The fly of choice today was a size 14 bead head pheasant tail with a sow bug dropper that i tie with rainbow dubbing ( always a plus when you cant keep them off your fly!) Anyhow i don't have a count of how many fish i landed today because i told myself i'm not going to keep track anymore because i tend to get greedy instead of just enjoying the fish i do catch. Ended up being a great day with great weather! The average fish was in the 15" to 17" range... all browns.

Side note: Things I'm not going to go fishing anymore without...

1: A thermos of coffee, Nothing like coming back to the car and having hot coffee!
2: A ziplock bag for my phone
3: Advil! apparently im getting old
4: A cooler full of water and diet mtn dew ( On account of my girlish figure)
5:The best of creedence clearwater revival for the drive home
6: Cash so the wife doesn't see my paper trail of maverick donuts

Dude I totally agree about how people count how many fish they caught. I usually get too the 5th fish and then I just say who cares im outside and I just have too enjoy life because it's too short so why count number too waste the time when you could catch another colorful fish. [Smile])

Gosh fishing with TDT is crazy you remembers too count fish and by the end of the day he has a big number and I just say ummm I guess around some number. Just enjoy the time outside.

Love the colors of the browns man [angelic]

Sounds like a perfect day, I got out on the weber today and did ok, Got a nice fatty but didnt see any risers. I also fished that spot we went to a few weeks ago and had lots of hits, just couldnt hook them. You need to show me the ropes on the middle provo sometime soon, and Ill get you a fish on a steamer [Wink]. let me know when you can get out, I will be out of school next week [fishon]

Ya man enjoy life at the fullest because you never know when it's you time too leave. I always think that when I'm in the Unitas because you never know what can happen up there just have too enjoy what's out there. I just wished I had more time now too be fishing but that needs too wait for now. [Sad]

When ever I don't have work or anything holding me back I leave too go fishing or somewhere be outside. If someone ask me too work on a day that I have no work schedule good luck ha ha ha. [cool]

Tons of whiteys for me though... I threw streamers today but nothing. I don't think I'm patient enough! I'll show you some of my favorite spots on the middle soon.
