I getting ready to wrap my threads on my rod ive been building, but I still need a motor for applying and drying the epoxy, does anyone know where I can buy one around the salt lake area or ogden area, I know I can buy them online just curious if anyone has them around here?

Bought mine on line. Way cheaper than anything around. Use to be a company that rented them out for like $5. but they are long gone.
Maybe HFT has something.

I bought a Pacific Bay from Cabelas a few years ago. I don't know if it's nicer than anything else, cause I've never owned anything else, but it hasn't failed me yet!

[#502800]Do you just want a slow turning motor, or do you need it rigged to turn a rod ....... I have some motors that I rigged to turn rods (rubber band method) and to dry flies ....... I got four of them for $8 ea. I have an extra one that I have never used, but it will have to be rigged.[/#502800]

I think Fish Tech may still rent turning motors and stands. I bought mine on Cabelas website, the cheapest they had, and it works great.
