Jmax, Chick, Bass and Crappie, 1/12/13, Pointer

Jerry and I have known each other for five years or better but never went fishing together before until this trip. I have called Jerry before and we have talked about it before but for one reason or another it just never came to be. Jerry called me Friday evening while coming back from work and told me he was not booked to fish with anyone and if I went he would like to go. I told him if it did not rain I would call him and we would. emoThumbsup By 10 o'clock that morning with very little rain to speak of and unseasonable warm weather we hit the water.<br /><br />Our intentions were to bass fish but on a couple locations we saw some crappie on the fish finder and put a few in the boat. Did not really catch that many but it was a good trip and we got to stretch a line together. We only boated seven bass, I also lost three others getting them in. emoConfusedOne of those were on a TN rig. In addition we caught several crappie. Not a bad afternoon. The bass were caught on a jerk, trap and a shakey. We caught them out of water from about 3 to 15 feet. The water temp was just over 51 degrees. We did not set any records but we had a good time and nice afternoon. After hearing what won the Saturday tournament we decided we never found the right pattern. emoBig I wanted to watch the Raven and Bronco game so we left at 4 o'clock.
