East Canyon ice conditions????

Anyone fished on the west side by the dam??? How thick is the ice???

I've been hearing in the cove area they have 4-5" last week so I imagine with the cold snaps we had could be at least 5-8" in the bay and maybe some open water far out or just 1-3" in the deeper area. That's my best bet.

I've fished there twice in the last week. Yesterday there was about 8 inches. fishing was way slooooow. Not many even showing on the finder.

Thanks. I checked with the ranger station today.
They said there had been ATV'S out there, with no accidents, so that's good enough for me.
