I know, I know, I know, Another Fish Lake Report
#1
2 of us set out from Logan at 3:30 in the morning to fish lake. To catch some perch and some splake and hopefully a few lakers.

We got to the lake at 9ish and the fishing was good for perch. Mostly dinks 5-6 inchers. We were site fishing in an ice tent in 15 feet of water. I am still shocked at the amount of fish you can miss when you see them bite. We caught a few splake, only kept one.

We moved out to 92 ft in search of lakers and we spotted fish on the finder, but they didn't like what we were jigging.

Got back and cooked up the perch

Recipe:

Batter:
2 cups of flour
4 TBS of corn starch
12 ounces of beer
dash of salt and pepper

Batter & Fry

Add to tortilla and top with smith's manager's special half off salsa.

It's thick enough to make you seriously consider buying a gas auger. The ice was about 15 inches where I was at.

The Ice was fairly noisy and slick. Word to the wise stay on the snow.

Someone broke there arm falling on the ice. Be careful outthere.
