Kingfish, Chickamauga, Crappie, 1-19-2013, Grayson
#1
Grayson and I fished from 10:30 am until about 4:00 pm. The water was up to summer pool after the flooding rains this past week. I would guess the water was up 4-5' from last week. The water looked like chocolate milk. Lots of trash floating in the water (and a few trees). The water temp. was 47*.
We caught 24 Crappie with 14 keepers. Most of the keepers measured 11" to 12".
One time we both caught a keeper at the time. That is always a good time!
I used BGBS on 1/16 oz jig. The best bite was on the Chartruese/Bone. Grayson had the hot lure color of the day: Panfish Assassin 2" Silk Chartruese. Don't let him fool you I still caught the big fish of the day. lol
