1st cutbow

Went to the lower provo today. It was damn windy and cold but the fish cooperated. Caught 3 and missed atleast 5 or 6 (damn size 22 zebras lol). I was particularly excited about a nice 2-3 lb cutbow i caught. Such a fat fish and he did not want to come up! His first run about took my 4 wt outta my hands. (4wt was a bad idea with the wind today, shoulda went 6). While bringing him in I just thought he was a very dark rainbow but sure enough he had the slashes on his gills.

Size 14 tan flashback scud and 22 midge larvae were fly of choice today

Get out and fish, they are biting!!!!
