Pineview perch
#1
Took the Grandson to Pineview on President Day. Ice was a good foot and a half. little crust of snow over the top. We ended up on the south side of Cemetery Point. Walked out about 100 yards from the shore. It should be 30 ft deep. Man did we spank them. They are sitting about a half a foot off the bottom. Used a small ratfink. My grandson had a castmaster on his line to attract them. I had just a plane ratfink. he had green I had pink. It made no difference. We caught just under 100 perch in three hours. Using the old perch eye. Ran into a couple of guys that read the form. Gave them some advise on were to go and a couple of ratfinkies. [fishin] Fish on. I would post picts. But who wants to see a pile of perch LOL. Ps some were small and some a nice size.

Always nice to hear about the kids getting into the action. Congrats on a big pile -- hope you have a sharp knife and a lot of patience...

Yeah, just get a grinning kid in the shot, and it never gets old.
