hyrum update

Went to Hyrum today with 2 friends. We fished up the upper end over the sand bar by the inlet. We landed 30+ between the 3 of us in 6 hours all ranging from 6-16 ". Orange rat finkies, orange ratso's, and glow tubes tipped with mealworms were the best things today. Still 8-10" of ice.

I wonder what happened to all the lunkers that used to be in there. Used to be several over 22"

I'm not sure we did lose 3 rigs to some monsters down there today 4 pound test wasn't strong enough and my buddy nearly broke his reel bringing in one pig that he lost at the hole. There was a duo behind us that landed a 22 inch bow while my buddy talked to them. They were there for the perch but they just kept landing bows
