It just wasn&#39;t all that bad today with the exception that Moses and I couldn&#39;t get the fish to bite! I&#39;ve fished when it was colder, more snowy, more rainy and more wind. But it was bad enough and I&#39;m certainly glad that it didn&#39;t get any worse. Thanks to all the macho fishermen, and fisher women that participated and hung in there for the weigh in. It was good to see some new people also. Moses and I had a great plan we thought. We had four places that we had caught fish the two weeks before, but not today. We threw the accursed rig, jerk baits, spinner baits and cranks. Jerry caught a small keeper first thing on the rig. then Ii got a short fish. We thought ok, here we go. But that was it!? We fished a deep flat beside a creek channel, some flats, rocky banks and river breaks and drops. The water temp was 46 degrees and stained. Congrats to all the winners! Kudos to Patrick again. He wasn&#39;t going to fish but drove down for the registration. Went back home and then drove back down for the weigh in! Now that&#39;s dedication!<br /><br /><br />
