It was so nice to be on the lake and it be warm and not windy! I got out about 10 to try to duplicate what we did last week.
I fished the same spots we caught over 100 on last week but it was much slower. I think this little cold snap pushed the fish back out a little bit. I fished all day in 16-25 fow and ended up with around 40 fish. The majority of the fish were caught on the first stop. Im not sure if the fish just shut down or I was hitting the wrong areas.
I did manage to scratch out a limit of nice ones though emoThumbsup. Theres no telling how many fish right at or right under 10in I caught, they all seem to be the same length!
It was a beautiful day on the water and im glad I got into a few fish. This next week or so of warm temps should push the fish back up into the sloughs.
Water temp. started at 43 and rose to 50 emoThumbsup
All fish were caught on BG in every color except ghost.
