just thought i would see what colors and rigging other people around here use. If i am fishing in the snake i through a 1/8 oz 5/0 swim bait hook with a smoke with hologram flake Texas rigged 5 inch senko
Pond fishing is where i have more trouble i have been using watermelon magic 5 inch Texas rigged weightless this year and it has been hit or miss
Any one have any suggestions for hard baits such as cranks or jerk bait's that work well in ponds or the snake any info would be great

I usually use smaller, 4" stick baits in ponds. Watermelon magic is a good choice. Green pumpkin or a baby bass laminate would work well too I think. Also try a small, soft plastic jerkbait like a Superfluke Jr in those same colors.
A smaller 1/4-3/8oz lipless crank like a Lucky Craft LVR Mini or LV100 are really good in the small reservoirs near Preston where I fish. They're pretty much ponds. Also smaller double willow spinnerbaits can be good when it's windy.
It's spendy, but Megabass just released a smaller version of their Vision 110, the best jerkbait ever created. I haven't fished it yet, but I'd bet it would work well.

Weightless 5 inch green pumpkin texas rig skip under willow trees in the snake. i carry a whole arsenal, but that is what works. If i'd take all the other crap out the boat might go faster. This year "the" crankbait is flicker shads. Caught this 5.65 today at Walcott.
