My brother and I are going to fish CJ on Wednesday morning of next week. We don't have a boat and are wondering if shore fishing is any good and if so where should we go. Any tips would be very helpful. Thanks!

Go to Cottonwood or Bruneau Arm Narrows if you're after crappie. The slack water below the dam may also be good, but shore space is extremely limited since they put the fences up. With the warm weather we've been having, they should be moving in shallow. Use jigs and Crappie Nibbles.

There were people catching crappie anfd bluegill at cottonwood. One guy caught 10 on a fly rod in about a 10 minute time frame. Looked like fun..
