I was out at lake lowell thursday evening. We did ok. I caught about 8 and lost 7. My buddy did well he landed probably around 15. Nothing to big. 2.5 was the biggest but did have a couple of hogs that popped off. I caught all mine on plastics and he did well on spinners. He caught quit a few out side the trees about 30yds out. All mine come out of the trees.

Not sure of the temp. I haven't been taking out my fish finder. I just got back with my 5 yr old. We fished from 6pm to 830 and we landed 21 the biggest was 3.11. They are not spawning yet but they are getting close maybe two more weeks or so. Some of the females were fat and the males were out looking for them. I saw several swim by the boat with males right behind them.

Water temps are high 50s to low 60s depending on where you are.

I got my niece and nephew out yesterday afternoon. They had fun and caught a couple too. We had the same findings with water temps. High 50's to low 60's depending on our location.
