Weeb again 5/4

Went again for my fix for a few hours yesterday. Fishing a bit tougher but still caught my share and as usual, kept a couple for dinner, Left early because a flock of sheep showed up with 2 Great Pyrenees guard dogs. I didn't want those guys taking after Sparky, which I'm sure would have happened and w/o a doubt. would have killed him, [mad] They have already attacked folks on ATVs and have attacked my truck before.
Anyway, had to take a pic of this guy before I released him because of his size and coloration. What a beautiful fish. [Smile]

Nice Leaky. I'd never call it boring when you have a consistent location your can hit and feel confident you'll be on them. I've found that for river-browns, and last summer had the bass and crappie in my back pocket. Hope for a repeat, Nothing like a Friday afternoon tug to round off a hectic week!

Found some spots I would LOVE to take the hound. Hope I can arrange access to make that happen. It would be good for the pup, THAT I know! Nothing like a tired pup to make ya feel like a job well done.

Glad ya didn't have a row with the big dogs. I was just recollecting some of my cocky lab/border collie mixes mixups. He always had a way of taking on the biggest dog at hand, just to show. I really think if I'd let him get his ass kicked a few times instead of always being pulled out, he might have changed his attitude. But then again, the wolf-mix lost half an ear to a neighbor "pup". Coulda been worse.

Just NEVER EVER reach into a dog fight, that I learned. Rather have them let at it than end up with stitches. They got fur after all...

Glad you had fun. Sparky doesn't have ANYthing to prove! So glad you guys can still get out. Cheers!
