Utah Disabled Veterans Fishing Event
#1
BFT team,
it's that time of year again. We are currently planning this year's annual Diasbled Veterans fishing event. This year's event will be held at the same location, Soldier Creek Marina, Strawberry reservoir on Satuday, July 27th. Mark it on your calendars.
This year we are expecting just over 100 veterans to turn out. The VA is reporting that many have been asking to get on the list all winter to ensure they don't miss it. We hope that all of you that have volunteered in the past to help support this event will be able to do so again. I have attached a short power point presentation with the details for this year's event. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. Thank you so much for your valued support. We will continue to post updates and details on our facebook page.

We are in need of donations to support this year's event so if you would like to donate please contact me directly through PM, email, or phone.

Thank you all so much for your continued support,

I'm in with my boat. Can take two easy, three if need be. Probably won't fish myself, instead I'll work to get the Vets on 'em.

I'd love to come back but it's the same day as my scout camp so I won't be able to make it this year. Sorry J

I talked to the store manager (Mark) with the Riverdale Sportsmens Warehouse and he promised another $200 worth of gift cards as long as I buy a bunch of hunting/fishing DVD’s again. Last year I had him break it up into $20 cards. Will that work again or would you like it a different way?

I can also hit Lance and Wade up for donations from Angler Den in Roy. I’m good at begging for money, just ask my wife.

He also told me each Sportsmens is given an allotment. If anyone wanted to ask a different store you would have a good chance of getting some donations as well. Just a thought.

I volunteer me and my boat. Kochanut will also be with me on the boat so we could do 1 or 2 more comfortably.
