Payette pond
#1
Hit the pond again this morning. I've been hitting it now & then all week, with mixed results. The evening thunderstorms have made it hard to work, lots of floating debris getting stirred up.

But, I've been getting at least one decent size bass each day. Had a few break my line, usually right as I grab my net. One snapped my line just a couple of seconds after he hooked up. I still have no idea how big it was, it could have been a carp for all I know LoL!

Today I got there around 9. Slow fishing, with a smally now & then. But right at 11 I snagged this monster. I'm pretty sure he's taken at least 2 of my lures this week, so it felt good to finally bank him. C&R of course, gotta let them breed!

The mouth of my net is 13", I figure the fish to be about 20", felt like 9 or 10lbs.
