Can't believe my luck! Had a large sea trout just 4 days ago and now have been rewarded with a bright salmon in the same taking spot.
Returned to Woodside Pool on the Hampshire Avon and manged to grass the best looking springer of the season - a stunning 15lb silver bar.
It had a girth of 17 inches ! Proper deep bellied Avon springer.
