Just got back from a great trip to Henry's Lake, Idaho, to try out all the mods to my Assault. Battery now strapped to engine mount to counter-balance motor and minimize its footprint.
PVC rack holds cargo box and is attached to motor mount so it doesn't slide forward (however, I need to make the rack wider).
Poly-wood platform for fish finder and PVC swing arm for transducer.
Poly-wood frame for famous "throne" swivel seat (locks back legs in place and evenly distributes weight), where wife scouts for rising fish, directs me through Green River rapids, and comments on my inability to row, fin or motor in a straight line.
Scotty mounts for rods.
We spend a lot of hours on this baby, and it's reasonably comfortable for a boat that will completely fit in the back of our small RAV4.
