My brother came in for the week from FL so we decided to head over the mountain to Guntersville. Started out with a bang on top-water catching the biggest of the day on the 5th cast. We put in at Waterfront, didn't burn over 2 gallons of gas, & caught fish all day in scattered grass near the main channel with several different baits including Popr's, spinnerbaits, senkos, & D-Bombs. Never got a bite on a worm which is what we had been told they were biting. We probably caught between 35-40 fish with 20 keepers. The scattered grass turned out to be the best areas as when it got thick we didn't get many bites. We left 'em biting when a storm blew in late. There were several schools of small fishing chasing bait on & off all day.
